From the age of three I have had a passion for jewellery, a love of beautiful things and magpie tendencies. At the age of 39, I decided to train in making jewellery simply as a hobby, so, off to college I went to learn silversmithing and enamelling and there made a friend who wanted to spend time with me making recyled jewellery from bits and bobs she had been given. At that same time I was offered a job working for a lady who had her own jewellery shop, she wanted someone passionate about jewellery, knowledgeable about gemstones and customer friendly! What a chance! For five years I worked in a tiny shop in the lake district, making, designing and repairing jewellery for customers, buying and selling for the shop and, in my spare time selling reworked jewellery from home with my friend.

Now the time has come to move on, become my own boss and evolve my passion for recyling beautiful classics. Some of the jewellery is perfect, some a little tried or tatty, so where necessary I have used my skills to restring, reset or even modify the original designs without losing the character of a piece. The collections of handbags and silk scarves are all based on really well preserved classics that I go on long hunts and rummages to find.

It's all a labour of love. I hope you like my work!
